InOpSys is nominated
InOpSys developed a technology to recuperate palladium out of aqueous and solvent streams. Two units are already installed at the customers site and more than 70 kg of this scarce material is already recuperated the last 2 years.
The technology is based upon membrane technology and advanced adsorption materials combined with a chemical reaction step. This solution avoids loss and the need for mining of palladium. The solution has a low CO2 footprint compared to mining and transport from Russia or South-Africa.
