Pilot installation for large-scale PFAS removal

Return to the overview

Development of technology for large-scale PFAS removal from wastewater.

With support from the City of Antwerp, Inopsys has developed a compact, high‑performance purification unit equipped with a unique adsorbent material. This advanced material can capture significantly larger quantities of PFAS than conventional techniques – including even the most persistent compounds – while remaining fully reusable. By reducing waste and operating with a smaller environmental footprint, the solution aligns with evolving climate and sustainability goals.

This innovation doesn’t just deliver superior PFAS removal; it also keeps operational costs lower. The compact design requires less construction material and removes higher PFAS concentrations in a single cycle, making it both efficient and cost‑effective. And because the adsorbent material can be regenerated and reused, the system minimizes waste generation, setting a new benchmark for sustainable water purification.
