VMH (Flemish Environment Holding) invests EUR 1,25 million in the young company InOpSys and the current shareholders – among them the Innovation Fund, Gemma Frisius Fund and KU Leuven – are contributing another EUR1,25 million together.
This Quality Assurance System was imposed by OVAM, the public authority for waste management. We needed this Quality Assurance System for maintaining our registration as collector and merchant of hazardous waste. Yesterday an auditor of Vinçotte came to assess our Quality Assurance System and gave a positive evaluation.
The innovation project Plant-On-A-Truck from InOpSys, in cooperation with Janssen Pharmaceutica, became a finalist in the category Circular Economy for the Belgian Energy and Environment Award 2018. The Plant-On-A-Truck is an innovating mobile water treatment plant that reuses materials and reduces waste in the production of new generation medicines.
